We are looking to hire a Country Head of Air Freight to be responsible for the Country EBIT of the Air Freight product.
He/She will work closely with Regional Trade lane Management & Procurement Air Freight, and with Regional Air Freight Standards & GovernancernrnThe primary purposes of this role are:
1. To execute the global Air Freight product and trade lane management / procurement strategies at Country levelrn2. To execute the global Air Freight standards & guidelines at Country levelrnrnQualifications
* Minimum 10 years of operational air freight experience either on the forwarder or airline sidern* Minimum 5 years of experience in people management and leadership, including recruitment, training & development, coaching, conflict and performance managementrn* Work experience in a global forwarding / logistics companyrn* Profound knowledge of the air freight industryrnrnGood knowledge ofrnrn* productrn* trends and opportunitiesrn* markets (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment)
* procurement and capacity management for air freight, including service contractsrn* business administrationrn* supplier managementrn* the Country concerned, including knowledge of local suppliersrn* local laws and regulationsrnrnKnowledge ofrnrn* financern* controllingrn* process engineering and improvement methodologiesrnrnSkills
